Academic & Practical Syllabus

Qualification Architecture & Overview

The ProSCA Level I Certification delivers the essential foundation for fitness coaches, personal trainers, and performance practitioners. Rooted in our signature "Learning by Doing" philosophy, this intensive course bridges academic exercise science with real-world lifting platforms. You will learn biomechanically sound coaching cues, movement screening, barbell and dumbbell coaching techniques, foundational speed drills, and progressive overload design for beginner-to-intermediate trainees.

Tested Practical Competencies (Platform Assessment)

01

Kinematic Cueing & Barbell Path

Delivering rapid verbal and tactile cues to correct movement compensation under heavy platform loads.

02

Velocity-Based Training & Transducers

Calibrating linear position transducers to dictate load prescription based on real-time concentric velocity.

03

Force Plate Return-to-Play Testing

Analyzing ground reaction force asymmetry and rate of force development during jump landing exit criteria.

04

Defensible Periodization Architecture

Defending a multi-season annual plan before the ProSCA academic faculty examination board.
